The publication scheme brings together the main categories of information that Alderstead Council publishes routinely. Its purpose is to make council information easier to find without requiring a separate information request.

Who we are and what we do

Information about the council's role, functions and relationship with other authorities is available on About Alderstead Council. Democratic arrangements are explained under Council and democracy.

Decisions and democratic records

Agendas, reports, minutes and published decisions are available through Meetings and decisions when those records are produced. Councillor and electoral information is published through the relevant democracy pages.

Services and policies

The services directory contains information about council services and responsibilities. Other corporate information, including complaints, privacy, accessibility and information-access material, is published through the relevant pages in this site.

Information not listed here

The scheme is a guide to information published routinely; it is not a complete catalogue of every record held by the council. If the information you need is not published, you can use the Freedom of Information route or the relevant service contact. Requests for personal information should use the appropriate privacy or information-rights route rather than a general publication request.
